How to enable spell check in firefox

1.Type about:config in your firefox’s adrees bar and hit Enter key on your keyboard
2.Input layout.spellcheck in the Filter field to bring up layout.spellcheckDefault item
3.Double-click the item layout.spellcheckDefault and change it’s value from 1 to 2
3.Now open a new FF windows or Tab(or refresh in the existing one) to see the results.
4.Now you will find there will be a spell checking during you type anything in firefox’s text form.Good lucks!

How to let firefox ocuppy lower memory

As a FF users,sometime we may find the Firefox cause our computer slow,in fact most times it’s because Firefox ocuppy more memory at this time.So if there is any way to give out a limit memory for firefox,of course,below will show you the steps to do the job.
1.In your firefox’s address bar,input “about:config” then press “Enter”
2.Scroll down to find item “browser.cache.memory.enable“ to make sure it’s value is true,if not please double-click this item to make it as true
3.Right-click anywhere in the about:config window and select New and then Integer from the pop-up menu
4.Enter browser.cache.memory.capacity in the New integer value pop-up box,then click OK
5.Now you need to enter a value in the Enter integer value window,the value depends on your memory and it’s unit is KB ,and it indicates the maximum amount of memory in KB to use to cache decoded images.
Tips:Too lower value will save your memory but may make your FF run slow
Here I use 20480KB(24M) memory for image decoding,and my RAM is 256M.
6.If for any reason you wish to restore the default settings, change the browser.cache.memory.capacity integer value to -1 , which will let firefox use the default vaule.Chart below is the default value of Firefox 1.5 of this preference

Let Firefox always ask you where to save files during downloading

For FF users ,we may found that Firefox have set a default folder for downloading files,It ‘s a little inconvenience.In fact we can customize the download location or let Firefox ask you where to save
your files.
Just click Tools — Opitions ,In the Main tab,you can do all of this.You can change the default fold for downloading to “Desktop” or other folder you want,or you just can check the “Always ask me to save files” option to choose a location everytimes.

WordPress issue: upload image under flash player 10

Do you meet a trouble of can not upload images in wordpress with flash player 10 installed in your computer?
In fact it’s a bug of wordpress,if you are using wordpress 2.5,pls following the below steps.
- Uninstall media flash player 10
- Download and install media flash player 10 for Firefox etc.
- Check flash version…
Note:
Before uninstall and install all web browsers must be closed !
If you are using wordpress release higher than 2.6.5,you can use the last version and use “browser uploader” , not flash uploader.
