Let Firefox always ask you where to save files during downloading

For FF users ,we may found that Firefox have set a default folder for downloading files,It ’s a little inconvenience.In fact we can customize the download location or let Firefox ask you where to save
your files.
Just click Tools — Opitions ,In the Main tab,you can do all of this.You can change the default fold for downloading to “Desktop” or other folder you want,or you just can check the “Always ask me to save files” option to choose a location everytimes.

How can I save a file on a USB key. I am running the Linutop version of linux. The Firefox save to window will only show me the contents of the home disk.
