For Solaris,you can use command isainfo -kv to know it.
eg:the following command indicate that your cpu is 64 bit

jason@server1[/home/jason]1173% isainfo -kv
64-bit sparcv9 kernel modules

(note: Solaris 2.6 and earlier releases are always 32 bit and lack the “isainfo” command. )
Tips:
The following output indicate that your machine also support 32 bit applications.

Guys,are you a chrome user.Today I found that 2 characters will let google chrome crash.
In the chrome address bar,when you input “:%” (no Quotes).You will found that the google chrome crashed immediately.

Fortunately,The crash is recoverable.(Though some guy said it is not recoverable).
When you restart the google chrome,chrome will prompt you to restore from the crash.
